Wendy James (born January 21 1966, somewhere inside East Sussex (she won't reveal where)). She left personal whenever she was Sixteen & went off to sleep in Brighton where she studied drama & English for a year. So she had "disillusioned" & left & began singing within the nightclub instead. There she met Nick Christian Sayer, they became "lovers" & began to write songs together, moved to London and teamed up by owning a select few cheap friends, Dave Parsons, Tex Axile and Pol Burton, and formed Transvision Vamp. Their 1st hit, "I Want Your Love" was within 1988.

Wendy became celebrated for her "controversial" views in: Kylie Minogue: "I think the attitudes she's portraying in her songs are really dangerous"), Smash Hits magazine: "pollution of the mind", a ecology: "Transvision Vamp are responsible human beings who don't see why we should be destroying the planet we live on"), animal rights: "animals are far more logical in the way they live their lives than human beings are").

Around 1993 she released her number 1 solo album, containing songs written for her by Elvis Costello, "This ain't the time for my tears". It was non the commercial message or even critical profits, & she was shortly drop in her record company.

Within 2004, Wendy James resurfaced & freed Racine There is no. One, in which she performs everthing instruments, via Pia-K Recordings, her have label.
